Each individual 50 minute therapy session is $200. I am an out-of-network provider with insurance. This means that if you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a superbill for you to give your insurance for reimbursement.
Typically, if you have out-of-network benefits, Insurance companies will reimburse you for 60-80% of the cost of each session. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn about your plan’s specific out-of-network benefits prior to starting treatment.
Please note that Jaye Therapeutic Alliance does not enter into contracts between clinical provider and insurance company.

Most insurance companies have you upload your superbills online and then they will mail you a check with your reimbursement or deposit it into a bank account.
It’s always a good idea to call the number on the back of your health insurance card listed under Member Services.
You might consider asking the following questions:
—Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?
—What is my out-of-network deductible?
—How much of my deductible has been met this year?
—Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
—What percentage of outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?
—How much will I be reimbursed for a 45 minute psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?
—How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
—How long does it take for me to receive reimbursement?

Generally, individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. I meet with the majority of my clients on a weekly basis.
I may recommend that we increase or decrease the frequency of sessions and/or length of our sessions to best meet your needs.

I offer in-person sessions, in Newton, Massachusetts, and virtual sessions for clients who are throughout Massachusetts, Maine, and Connecticut.

Yes. I offer one waived cancellation fee if cancelling with less than 24 hours notice. After this, any cancellation within 24 hours of our scheduled session will result in a charge of the full session fee.

Being nervous is completely normal and okay! Ultimately, it is your choice whether or not you engage in therapy. If after our first session, you’re having second thoughts, let’s talk about it! I’m happy to help you connect with another therapist if we decide that’s what makes the most sense for you.

First, let’s connect for a free 15 minute phone consultation so that we can discuss what you are looking for in therapy. If we both decide we're a good fit after the intro call, we'll schedule our first therapy appointment. I'll send you a few quick forms to complete before our first session through an electronic health record called SimplePractice.
You can request a phone consultation by clicking here navigating to the Book Now tab.
